Achilleas Papatheodorou is a Senior Clinical Embryologist, certified by ESHRE, with extensive experience in over 20,000 assisted reproduction cycles (ART), including many complex cases of severe male infertility.
He graduated from the Biology Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences (M.Med.Sc.) in Assisted Reproductive Technology from the University of Nottingham. In 2016, he earned his PhD from the Medical School of University of Ioannina, where his research focused on the clinical application of vitrification in egg cryopreservation.
He has worked as a clinical embryologist in Thessaloniki, Albania, and Italy, and has also served as a scientific consultant for the IVF Laboratory at San Carlo Hospital in Potenza, Italy.
He has given presentations as a guest speaker at conferences and practical workshops and has participated in research and educational programs related to modern assisted reproduction laboratories. He is the author of numerous scientific articles and book chapters in relevant scientific publications.
Outside of his professional life, Achilleas enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is passionate about photography and has a diverse collection of music.
